Erasmus+ Info Day 2022

Erasmus+ Sport represents the actions in the field of sport to promote participation in sport, physical activity, and voluntary activities. The European Commission and the European Education and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA) hold an online Erasmus+ Sport ‘Infoday’ on 31 January 2022 and 1 February 2022 to inform potential applicants about the political context, programme, simplification and funding opportunities in 2022.

The Erasmus+ Actions in the field of sport aim at to tackling societal and sport-related challenges.

Such Actions are:

  • Cooperation Partnerships: to develop and implement joint activities to promote (among others) sport and physical activity, as well as deal with threats to the integrity of sport (such as doping or match-fixing), promote dual careers for athletes, improve good governance, and foster tolerance and social inclusion.

  • Small-Scale Partnerships: have simpler administration, smaller grants and shorter durations than Cooperation Partnerships, for grassroots organisations and newcomers to the Programme.

  • Not-for-profit European Sport Events: to encourage sporting activity, implement EU strategies for social inclusion through sport, foster volunteering in sport, fight against discrimination and encourage the participation in sport and physical activity.
