Our Executive
The ENAS Executive Committee (EC) plays a vital role in bringing the ENAS Strategy to life, driving the development and execution of events and activities that benefit our entire network.
Elected by the ENAS General Assembly 2024 in Belfast, the EC consists of three key roles—President, Treasurer, and Secretary-General—along with up to four committee members. One of these members is elected Vice-President. All positions are held on a voluntary basis, with the support of their universities. The committee members work together to lead our initiatives and ensure ENAS’s continued success.
The EC also has the flexibility to invite additional members to attend meetings and take on specific responsibilities when needed, helping us stay adaptable and focused on the needs of our community.

Liesbeth van Vliet-Kruisifikx – President
With my background in movement sciences and sports management and policy, I feel at home in my current job as sports coordinator in Maastricht University.
I came to Maastricht for my study time and never left, I love working and living in the southern part of the Netherlands.
The surroundings are a good inspiration for race cycling and walks in the hills. Next to that I love to do different sports as squash, padel and recently I started bouldering.
One of my other hobbies is making music together, I play violin in the university orchestra and recently started with piano lessons. I love to be part of different networks and occasionally try to bring these networks together.
A few years ago, we started a foundation ‘Maastricht Vitale Stad’, to promote a vital life style to the local people. In that way I try to bring students and the other inhabitants closer to each other and we promote people to connect and work together in organizing activities that help people to be more vital and get more power over their own health (body and mind).
I like to work and be active, but I also like to read a good book and I love spend time with my husband and kids (two teenagers), cook good food and spend time together with family and friends in the kitchen or in our garden.
Since 2019 I feel part of the ENAS family and I am happy that I have the opportunity now to give something back to this network. I am looking forward to the next period, let’s make it better together!

As far as I can remember, I've always been a sports fan.
I practiced several sports and ended up being a semi-professional futsal player for more than
10 years. Since I retired from futsal I try to keep fit and healthy by going to the gym, cycling
and playing occasional football and padel with friends.
I started my academic education in IT Engineering but ended up changing to the Sports field,
which made me much happier. I graduated in Sports Coaching and worked in different areas as
a football coach, strength and conditioning coach, event planner and sports manager. Since
2015, I have been working at the Sports Service of NOVA University of Lisbon, trying my best to
make the world a healthier and happier place.
In my free time, I like to travel, read and watch old movies
