ENAS Experience Visit to the XXX Winter Universiade

XXX Winter Universiade
Lucerne (Switzerland); 13 – 15 December 2021

Dear ENAS Members,

We are delighted to inform you about the opportunity to attend the Winter Universiade for an ENAS Experience, with the opportunity to meet up in person with other ENAS members, to attend the FISU Conference, and to see some of the competition programme.

Our member Institution –University of Lucerne – is one of the host organisations, and they have extended an offer to coordinate an ENAS family visit. It will be the first post-pandemic opportunity for ENAS members to meet up in person and experience some of the highest level of student sport competition.

The FISU World Conference on Innovation, Education and Sport that will take place during this 30th Universiade, and we plan to arrange some activities for the ENAS members that are interested in attending the event.

The programme and the packages to attend the conference are available at this link. Members will need to budget for the conference package, transport to Lucerne, hotel accommodation, and the occasional meal. We are recommending that members book the 3 day package.

There are a range of hotel accommodation packages available, and  we hope that if we have a group of members are interested in attending, we can organise for ENAS members to be accommodated in the same hotel. Please, note that every participant will need to book his/her own accommodation, and book the conference package.

What we need now!

We kindly request you to let us know if you are interested in attending this event, by sending a confirmation / expression of interest e-mail to me, before 30th September.

In this way we can have a clear picture of how many people will join us in Lucerne for the Winter Universiade, we can look to organise a hotel for the ENAS attendees, and we can liaise with our colleagues in Lucerne to confirm specific arrangements for the ENAS group.

We would like to thank our colleagues Patrick Udvardi, and Sonia Matthey for their assistance in making this event possible.

Please do not hesitate to contact us in case you have any questions.

Thank you!

All the best,
ENAS Team
